Blink and You’ll Miss It
At its core, Covidity is a digital graffiti art piece broken into six wildly surreal worlds that represent the pandemic’s psychological effects on each of us. The short animated film screened in outdoor environments across Manhattan and Brooklyn is a visual poem that conjures familiar feelings of lockdown, juxtaposed with the relative freedom of being outside. In the conception and execution of Covidity, ThoughtMatter used the most powerful weapon in its arsenal, creativity, to give visual representation to the mind-bending cultural shift we’re collectively experiencing.
